Homeopathy

Homeopathy is an effective and scientific system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself. It recognises that all symptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person and that it is the patient who needs treatment, not the disease.

As a new patient, these ideas may be new to you, but homeopathy has been established for about 200 years.

A homeopath works from the principle of treating 'like with like'. Minute doses of substances that can cause signs of illness in a healthy person are used to treat the same symptoms in a sick person.

The main aims of the homeopath are to reduce toxicity, restore vitality and relieve disease. It can be used either in conjunction with conventional medicine or as a treatment in its own right. Homeopathic treatments can be found in both chemists and health shops.

Homeopathy can also often help with elusive or obscure problems, so please ring me for a chat to find out if I can help you.

The remedies I use are gentle and safe, and are suitable for children, the elderly and pregnant and breastfeeding women.
