McTimoney and McTimoney-Corley Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a straightforward method of adjusting bones and joints of the body to relieve pain and restore movement. The chiropractor aims to restore proper nerve function by maintaining total body alignment especially along the spine and pelvis.
Whilst the spine maintains correct alignment, nerve information is passed accurately. However, if any part of the spine becomes misaligned then a nerve may become impinged, compressed or stretched, distorting the information that passes along it. This can lead to pain and restricted mobility.
Misalignments can occur from poor posture, falls, stress, childbirth, incorrect lifting, car or sporting accidents and a whole range of other common occurrences.
McTimoney-Corley and McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle treatment, which relies upon the dexterity of the chiropractor in performing light, but fast and accurate adjustments to misaligned bones and joints. The treatment is gentle enough for people of all ages, including babies and children, pregnant women and the elderly.
