Therapy Rooms Available/To Rent At The Nightingale Clinic

All the therapists at the Nightingale Clinic are self-employed, and we are always keen to hear from anyone who feels they are qualified to work at our clinic. NOTE: We do not offer employed positions.

We will review each application individually and contact you to either request an interview or to advise you of the reasons for not taking your application further. Often this is because we already have sufficient coverage for that therapy, or we do not feel your therapy fits the overall aims of the clinic.

However, even if we do not have space for a particular therapy or therapist, we always keep the details of any promising applications. Prior applicants will get priority in the event that we wish to expand our existing list of therapies or if any of our existing therapists leave for any reason.

To ensure the highest standards, we interview all potential therapists and you will be expected to provide evidence of your qualifications, membership of the appropriate regulatory bodies and professional/liability insurance.

What Times Are Rooms Available To Rent?

Therapy rooms are available to rent for between one and six days a week. The clinic is available from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday as standard. If a room is required for times outside these hours - for example, 6pm - 9pm on weekdays or Sundays - this may be possible, subject to negotiation.

For availability on specific days or times, please contact us.

What Is Provided In Each Therapy Room?

Each therapy room is provided with a desk, chairs, a couch and other essential/non-specialist equipment, where appropriate. Couch roll is also provided but you are expected to provide any specialist materials or equipment that may be required.

The clinic is inspected regularly and cleaned weekly. However, you are expected to leave the room in a clean and tidy condition, as the therapy rooms are generally shared during the week.

Your clients will have a relaxing and comfortable waiting area, where they can relax whilst waiting for you to finish the previous client, and light refreshments will be provided.

Advertising

We promote the clinic through advertising in publications such as Yellow Pages, local newspapers and parish magazines and periodic booklet drops. There is space in the reception area for each therapist to advertise their treatments, and place their leaflets and business cards. In particular, we believe in co-operative advertising, to maximise the exposure and minimise the cost for the individual therapists.

An additional benefit offered by working at the Nightingale Clinic is that you will receive promotion on our website, including your contact and therapy details, and any other specific information you wish to provide. We encourage all our therapists to take a dedicated email address. This provides a unified image and enhances your reputation with your clients.

We work hard to ensure that the clinic website (and hence your details) are well-indexed by the major search engines. In virtually all cases, we rank in the top five for a geographic search for a particular therapy, and in some cases even for UK-wide or world-wide searches.

As an example, searching for "chiropractor northamptonshire" shows our chiropractor as #1 out of 295,000 results! (as at 2nd May 2008)

In fact, try searching for any of our therapies in Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough or Northamptonshire and you'll usually find we're top of the list, or at least top five. This is no small achievement...

We also provide a 'virtual receptionist', so that new clients can ring the clinic and receive basic information about the treatments available, and the days that you will be in the clinic. The receptionist will take messages which can then be despatched to you by fax, email or SMS, or the call can be patched through to you if you are available.

In due course, we hope to offer additional benefits, subject to cost and agreement between all the therapists, and any other facilities that are felt beneficial or necessary.

How Much Does It Cost To Rent A Therapy Room?

Our normal rate (as from 1st January 2008) is £36 for a full day (9am - 5:30pm), and £24 per half day (9am - 1pm or 1:30pm - 5:30pm). Certain high value treatments e.g. non-surgical cosmetic treatments may be charged at a higher rate.

We're keen to encourage you to contact us to discuss your requirements in more details. To help you establish your business, we offer an introductory rate of £28 per full day (£18 per half day), which will be increased to the full rate after 3 months, when you should have the makings of a regular clientele.

A small per-call charge will also be made for calls handled on your behalf by the virtual receptionist (passed on at cost), which will be significantly cheaper than the shared cost of a full-time, employed receptionist.
